MD drew inspiration from scriptures in the bible such as Mark 16:15 “Go into all the world and preach the gospel to all creation,” as well as Isaiah 61:1 “The Spirit of the Sovereign LORD is on me because the LORD has anointed me to proclaim good news to the poor. At that moment and with the prompting of the Holy Spirit, MD began to pen the lyrics for ‘Send Me I’ll Go,’ an anthem that encouraged Christians throughout the world to remember the Great Commission to go into all the earth and preach the gospel of Jesus.
